Workforce housing developments are often evaluated by the surrounding community based upon a number of important factors. However, in certain circumstances, the question about who lives in “those” kind of communities becomes the focal point of the discussion. 

The reality is that a majority, if not all, of the adult residents within each community are employed, often at a local job. Workforce housing is an effective way to provide individuals and families with the opportunity for upward economic mobility.
